Can’t imagine a day without make-up ? We understand. While we appreciate your love for make-up, using it every day can trouble your skin in many ways. Discover YOUR new skincare routine.

Each of us has different skin types, tones, concerns and goals. Knowing your skin type is essential for personalizing your skincare routine and optimizing your health because you need to be flawless on camera and in real life.

Let’s talk about the different types of skin and see how to properly take care of each type.

Oily skin

To people with oily skin, this process can go into overdrive. Large pores are often the culprit because the bigger the pores, the more active the oil glands, the more they’ll secrete. If you are prone to have oily skin, you likely experience a shiny film on your face and frequent breakouts.

To keep the oil glands in check and minimize pore size, we recommend a foaming cleanser, silica mud masks, and a hydrating cream – a trio of formulas for deep-cleansing radiance and soothing hydration.

Dry skin

The number one sign you have dry skin is if it looks dull and feels rough to the touch. Many factors can contribute to dry skin, such as aging, underactive sebaceous glands, sun exposure or lifestyle habits (like hot showers). When skin becomes dry it loses it’s ability to retain moisture and tends to be dull, rough, flaky and irritable. To restore your skin’s oil balance and provide moisturizing nourishment, algae bioactive concentrate, mineral mask and BL+ the serum (intensely hydrates and relieves signs of fatigue and puffiness) are an extraordinarily potent trinity, opening the door to a younger, plumper, and a more radiant complexion.

Normal skin

Healthy and well hydrated skin is able to tolerate most things overreacting. While it can change seasonally, normal skin has a a balance between oil and moisture and is even-toned, smoothly textured, and blemish-free. To preserve the intrinsic radiance and optimal oil-to-moisture ratio of the normal skin, to prevent premature aging and strengthen the skin barrier, we suggest three products calibrated to keep skin healthy: algae masks, a hydrating cream, and BL+ the serum.

Now that you know how to treat YOUR skin type, and you know how to properly take care of it, let’s give you some other tips and tricks on how to master the art of make-up:

  • Clean the brushes because deep cleaning your brushes will kill the bacteria,
  • Remove make-up before bed because it’s mandatory to wash off your make-up before you go to bed with a make-up remover, using soft cotton pads.
  • Never share your make-up products with others, you can spread bacteria that can cause break-outs and other skin complications.
  • Only buy products that are good for your skin type and that are compatible to your PH. Using products that are not intended for you can mess up your skin in a very bad way.

At the end of the day you have to remember that you are a model, and you need to slay! So take care of your skin and your skin will take care of you and your earnings. Until next time.
