A lot of the girls I know and even the males have asked me about my wigs. How to choose one, how to apply it and how to keep it clean. Don’t skip this article if you want to find out.

1. Choosing and buying a wig

If you want to invest in a good quality long term wig or more, then you have to think about everything. How long will it be and if you’re going for human or synthetic hair. The most important step is to measure your head because that wig needs to fit and stay secure.
Next thing to do is to think about the style you want, the color, texture and density. Also, about dying options just in case you want to make a change.

Reminder: Human hair wigs last longer than synthetic wigs.

2. Installing a wig

For many years I have used the classic stocking caps to install my lace frontal wigs but it is quite exhausting and it requires a lot of products. These lace front wigs are the ones who stand out because of their unique hairline. This hairline can be easily customize and it actually looks pretty real, you just need a pair of scissors. Don’t worry, I will leave you a few helpful links for this.

3. Caring for a wig

If you want your wig to last longer than you have to give it some proper care. They act just like your natural hair, they all get oily and can retain traces of products, foundation for example. So, based on the wig you are going to choose you will need to give it a specific type of care.

Wigs are my best friends. They let you be whoever you want to be.

4. Styling a wig

The best part of actually owing a wig or more is their versatility. You can just switch up between the styles at any given moment. If you woke up and decide that today you want curly blonde or red hair, you can just do it. More than this, you can actually just buy different wig styles: short, long, curly, wavy, straight and so on.
